The San Pedro Visitor Center is located at 225 W. 6th Street, Downtown next door to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and one block up from the LA Waterfront.

Times vary
U.S. Navy ships USS America, USS Champion, and USS Wayne E Meyer arrive at the Port of Los Angeles
USS America (LHA-6) is an amphibious assault ship, USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG-208) is a destroyer, USCGS Active is a Coast Guard Cutter. You can see the arrival of the Navy ships along the LA Waterfront. Ports O’ Call Restaurant is a great place to see them (and enjoy a meal, appetizers, and beverages.
Thursday, September 1
6-9 p.m. First Thursday Welcome Celebration: The San Pedro Historic Business District
welcomes everyone to downtown San Pedro to LA Fleet Week First Thursday Art Walk and Welcome Party. Enjoy an evening of food, culture, entertainment, community, and military camaraderie.
Friday, September 2
8:30 a.m. Event opens to the public
8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. STEM Expo open (in the big blue structure adjacent to the World Cruise Terminal on the LA Waterfront)
8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. U.S. Bank Veterans Village open (in the Exhibits and Entertainment area in the parking lot)
9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Guided ship tours (ticket required; walk-up tickets first-come, first served)
9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Limited mobility pier side tours (no ticket required; first-come, first served)
9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Selfie photo tours (no ticket required; first-come, first served)
10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Food trucks: Dogtown Dogs, Slammin’ Sliders, Fries N More, Mangia, and A ROCKin ICE
