Please tell us if you are offering your gift certificates at a discount as an incentive for customers to buy them and if you are, what is the discount? (Some businesses use a rising scale on these kinds of discounts so that the greater the cost of the gift certificate, the larger the percentage discount is.)
Please tell us if you are offering delivery options, what type they are, and what the cost is. For example, one business might offer free local delivery, another may offer delivery through the Postal Service, yet another might offer delivery through FedX. It is your decision whether any delivery is free or whether some are free up to certain limits, perhaps based on the item's cost, size, or weight. Think in terms of what will appeal to your potential buyers, but also what might be an attractive method of operating after the pandemic goes away.
What kind of information is available online for your customers to shop your inventory and make selections. Some businesses already have extensive websites with virtual catalogs; restaurants increasingly have their menus online and the ability for customers to order and get their meals delivered. We would need the web addresses of these applications to link to them. And some of our affiliates have their own custom apps. Please provide information on any of the means through which customers can order and buy from you. If you do not have online capabilities of these types for your business, we can host them for your on www.VisitSanPedro.org or ConnectSP.com at no cost up to certain limitations. We can also accept credit and debit card payments on your behalf if you do not have a facility already arranged for online payments. (The cost would be 2.75% of each individual sale, which is the processing fee we pay to the bank that handles these arrangements for us.
