More than 100 members of the local community came together to celebrate San Pedro’s adopted son and to sing Hill’s International Workers of the World (IWW) songs, reminiscent of workers’ struggles in the Port of LA.

Lanta Salon Hosting First Workshop of New Year

Our first workshop of the year is set to balance Mind, Body, and Spirit. Friday January 13, 6-7:30 p.m. Hosted by Angelina C. Operational Update September 6-11

Fleet Week is over. We'll operate regular hours (10-4 and Noon-4 Saturday)

We have discount coupons for the Southern California Boat Show September 22-25. ALSO: We have coupons for people to fill out for a chance to win tickets. (Each winner will get at least two tickets, but we'll know more when we actually get our allocation of tickets.) The entry forms and the box to deposit them in are on the stand near the entrance of the Visitor Center.

Operational Update September 1-5

Fleet Week has arrived and we can use all the volunteers possible.

We will focus on providing visitor information along the Waterfront, in Downtown, and at Ports O' Call Village.

If you have free time, stop by the Visitor Center and you will find plenty to do.

We are officially operating regular hours (M-F 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday Noon-4 p.m.), but we will be open whenever there is adequate visitor presence in the area.

Team San Pedro Volunteer Training Tomorrow

Visit San Pedro will offer its Team San Pedro volunteer training tomorrow, Saturday, August 20, from 10 a.m.-noon at the San Pedro Visitor Center, 225 W. 6th Street. The training is free and covers the structure of the Visit San Pedro organization and its operations, local sites and attractions, and techniques for helping make the visitor experience great. There is no charge for the training and reservations are not required. San Pedro Visitor Center 225 W. 6th Street Downtown
